CRITERIA FOR CONSIDERATION
Individuals may be nominated representing four categories.
The nominee, if a alumnus/alumna, must have graduated at least ten years ago.
1. ATHLETE/TEAM
Any person, or team, who distinguished himself/ herself/themselves in the field of athletics while a student at West High School. Criteria considerations should include All-State recognition. All-American recognition, Pro selection, and outstanding college accomplishments. Other considerations may be taken into account but may not take the place of the above criteria.
2. ALUMNUS/ALUMNA
Any person who distinguished himself/herself in the field of athletics after graduation from West High School, or any person whose accomplishments while as a student or as a graduate brought significant honor and distinction to West High School.
3. COACH/TEACHER/ADMINISTRATOR
Must have at least five Years of service at West High School and fifteen years of educational experience. The nominee must be inactive to be eligible for consideration. Criteria consideration should be based on accomplishments that merit recognition as well as contributions to the athletic/educational programs at West High School.
4. CONTRIBUTOR/BENEFACTOR
An individual who has made contributions to the athletic/educational programs at West High School other than coaching or playing.
